BOOK REPORT.

Your book Reports should include the following:


1. Title & Author. Basic Information about the author.
2. Editor (the book was published by ..... Penguin books, etc., languages)
3. Type of book (fiction / non fiction)
4. Main characters, description
5. Setting (When and where ?)
6. Plot (Story, use present tense)
7. Reading text (short passage which you choose and read out loud)
8. Personal comment ( recommendations, etc.)


By the way, my favourite author is Bill Bryson. If you can't make up your mind which book to choose ask for him. His books are really extremely funny.


P.S. For your presentation - sometime after Corona -  use PPT or PREZI, feel free to use other media, too  (sometimes books have been turned into films). Don't forget to prepare a full script (max. 3 pages) as well as a Handout (1page) for your colleagues.

my favourite hobby / sport

Dear students,
One of yours tasks in the summer term will be to do a presentation on your favorite sport or hobby.
Please mind the following when preparing your presentation:

Duration: 5 - 10 minutes
media: Poster or/and Powerpoint / Prezi / prompt cards (NO FULL sentences allowed) / flipchart & handout (1 page max., distribute to colleagues and teacher, containing the written information as a summary), a written SUMMARY on your blog.

Good morning ladies & gentlemen, dear colleagues,welcome to my presentation about ....., my favourite hobby, etc.

Structure
I have devided / structured my presentation in 3/4/5 etc. parts, which are as follows

Elements
WHAT is it, what are the rules, basics, and what sort of equipment do you need (bring sample with you, if not too bulky...)
WHO can practice it (target group), who do YOU play/practice with (individual sport, team sport, etc.)
WHERE do you play, do, that (indour, outdoor, gym,)
WHEN do you practice it (how many days a week, which time of the day, which season),
WHY do you do like / recommend your hobby / sport 

Your HANDOUT must include a vocabulary section and a Q & A part (minimum 3 questions)
you hand in your handout the lesson before your presentation.
